林書豪效力籃網的首秀終於登場！豪哥昨拿18分、3助攻、3籃板與1火鍋，可惜籃網仍在新球季開幕戰以117比122敗給塞爾提克，不過眼見板凳球員領軍從落後23分追到只差3分，豪哥賽後大讚替補陣容的表現振奮人心。
「問我是否期待變成3分差的戰局？答案當然是不，但那發生了，球賽就是這樣，只要你朝著正確方向，且賣命去打。」林書豪說，「老實講，必須從我開始，全隊都要帶著今天最後5分鐘那種拚勁去打，那太令人感動了。」
不過這場比賽也把籃網當前兩大缺點展現，分別是「防守」與「濫投三分」，塞爾提克全場命中率高達5成39，助攻更有36次，充分代表籃網防守漏洞太多，籃網全場三分球投44中15，也創隊史單場三分球最多出手紀錄。
籃網另1麻煩，則是主力中鋒布魯克羅培茲苦陷低潮，他昨天投7中1，只拿7分、5籃板，明顯無法融入籃網新主帥艾金生體系當中，下半場更降替補，畢竟過往都以單打為主的他，要馬上融入新的團隊打法並不容易。
羅培茲說：「很明顯當前處境，對我來說很艱難，我當然想留在場上，但我清楚教練不用我的原因。」
起碼籃網昨天板凳表現亮眼，漢米爾頓攻下全隊最高19分，且抓10籃板，喬哈里斯16分，吉爾派崔克也有13分進帳，代表艾金生日後可用之兵越來越多，籃網接下來明天回到主場，迎戰昨以130比121延長擊退小牛的溜馬。
