義大犀牛菜鳥陳明軒，生涯首度先發面對中信兄弟，主投3局失2分，5次保送，表現還尚待加強，不過陳明軒最快飆出149公里速球，還三振中信兄弟「大師兄」林智勝，很敢跟打者對決。

陳明軒表示：「第一次先發，自己想太多，其實就是想能投長一點，減少牛棚負擔。」

不過陳明軒敢飆球速，這也讓教練團對他有信心，「當時退場，教練就跟我說他們有他們的安排。」

3局下滿壘2人出局，陳明軒面對林智勝，他連續飆出146公里左右的速球，跟林智勝硬拚，「當時滿壘，想說不能再保送，大不了被打滿貫全壘打，所以就勇敢對決。」

不過對於自己猛飆速球，陳明軒也反省，自己應該要投140公里左右的速球，而不是一直催壞球。

陳明軒是今年義大季中選秀第4指名好手，未來很有機會直接站穩一軍。

總教練葉君璋說：「他是好投手，雖然他的控球一直都是問題，還有改善的空間，就是想做的跟腦中想的不一樣，之後就要看球隊未來行程。」
